Litigation-Regulatory Practice

Our Experience

In private practice since 1995, he has appeared and represented clients in one of the largest court systems in the country, the Circuit Court of Cook County, in nearly all of its divisions: Chancery (extraordinary remedies including injunctive relief), Civil, Criminal, Domestic Relations, Law, and Probate. He has appeared in numerous federal district courts and federal circuit courts of appeal in numerous states.

He managed and directed the course of litigation in hundreds of lawsuits against Northwestern Memorial Hospital (NMH), mostly alleging hospital professional negligence or medical/nursing professional negligence. He managed its self-insurance program, and kept all settlements and judgements within the self-insured retention, so that none of NMH’s excess/umbrella insurance from London and Vienna was ever impaired (used) in 14 years.

He represents plaintiffs and defendants in many federal district courts and in the state courts of IL, WI, NY, DC, MA, TX, and AZ.
